View from the Birch Aquarium

I made a visit to the Birch Aquarium with friends visiting from Flordia -- great day inside & out.  This is a view from their deck, LaJolla cove to the left and the reseaach institute pier to the right.   This was a panorama stitched together in Photoshop.   Nice clear day!

We had a great time there and made our way to Old Town for some good Mexican food!   Check out the Birch Aquarium.

On my walk this morning ...

I try and walk a different street every day -- I saw this huge hibiscus bush this morning, may have to repeat this walk!    Love the flowers!

Had fun with this one, exploring blending modes in an iPhone app!   I usually use Photoshop for these blending modes, but they are now available on the iPhone with many different 99-cent apps!   Fun stuff.

Shadows

I was walking in Liberty Station area (San Diego)  yesterday and saw this hallway, loved the contrast!   I used a new camera app called "nofinder".  It's a bit strange to use because you don't see what you are shooting, the photos just show up in my Camera Roll.  It took a bit of experimenting, but I liked this version.

Sailing camp, fun morning on the water.

Hanging out (again) at Mission Bay Yacht Club (San Diego) watching 2 grandkids  in sailing camp.  So much fun to watch them having fun and learning how to sail the Sabots.
